I originally created this program as one of many countdown timers that lead to various events like, Christmas, Halloween, or next year. Unlike all those others, this one is actually important! Because, make no mistake about it, election day is tremendously important! The original versions of this page got rather long and I decided it was time to clean the slate and start over. But you can still read them if you'd like, because I've archived them. I don't like to delete things

Update: 2024-11-02
I still don't understand why the Republican party is still running this guy.
The closer we are getting to the election, the more his actions and words are not just a little weird. They are stupid, insane, dangerous, unhinged, violent, overtly racist, absurd, and in many cases, illegal.
And they are just letting it happen.
They can talk all the want in public about how they all still support him because it's good for the party. But you know that behind closed doors they are just as horrified as we are, what might happen if he wins.
But more to the point, right now, anyone allying themselves with that farking kook is going to look like, and go down in history, as a farking kook. Again, surely they know this.
This election is between a good person that wants to work and will help us, and a fascist, felon, fraud asshole that will spend his entire Presidency exacting revenge and making himself and his friends rich. Why the hell are they pressing forward with this?
In my fantasy world, this is what I think should happen...
The Republican party should simply announce on Nov 5th that they are dropping their candidate from the race and they concede the election to Kamala. They are doing this for the good of the country, so that we can get back to normal and start healing. Then denounce the entire MAGA movement as a mistake that went entirely too far.
If they were to do that, they would be HEROES. That would be the absolute best way for the entire party to redeem themselves. It would be the best way to show the country that are done with the violent MAGA rhetoric, and they want to get this country working again.
If they don't do this, this election is going to be a disaster for them. If Harris wins, they will LOSE badly. And if Trump is installed by the House, we will have a revolt that will likely involve a lot of bloodshed. Starting with them.
In short, there is no future for them after this election if they don't do something about Trump.
Update: 2024-10-30
Less than a week until the election now. If you've been following along here, I think you are pretty well aware of how I feel about this. But just the same, I'm going to jot down my thoughts on this, the final days until we know our fate. And make no mistake about this... When this election is over, we are going to have 1 of 2 things... A new leader who is smart, energetic, and wants to help the people of this country, or a fascist racist dictator who will dismantle the government as we know it, consolidate power to himself, arrest his political opponents, and begin the systematic process of destroying everything this country has worked for.
In short, we will either be in good shape or completely screwed.
This is not hyperbole. Trump has detailed his plans for what he will do when he becomes President. There is no mystery here. He has always been a racist asshole. Until recently he had been quiet about that. These past few weeks, we have seen him REALLY ramp that up. He has insulted and vilified everyone in the world that isn't white. Just look at what he and Vance did to the people in Springfield, OH. One of his main campaign promises is to deport millions of people. He says it will only be "illegals." But he doesn't care about that. What he means is, even if you're legal, if you are not white, you will be deported or detained in a concentration camp. Again, just look at the LEGAL immigrants in Springfield for more on this.
Enough about that. I could say that same stuff over and over again until I'm blue in the face. It doesn't matter. Certainly not here. Because if you are reading this, you already agree with me. There are ZERO Trump supporters reading this. So let me shift gears to speak about my actual concern.
Trump doesn't have anything like the support needed to win this election.
It's not even close. He lost the popular vote in 2016. He lost the popular vote in 2020 AND the electoral college. In the time since he has only lost support, not gained any. He has pissed off everyone from women, to the military, to immigrants, to LGBT, and every other marginalized group in the country. His entire campaign at this point is centered on scaring the crap out of everyone by saying that "illegals are streaming across the border, and killing people left and right." Telling us that Harris will raise taxes and make things more expensive. Something that is completely backward and untrue. He is saying that inflation is Biden/Harris's fault, even though it was a direct result of HIS mismanaging of the pandemic. Baah... Whatever... You people know all this.
This is the bottom line... He is going to lose this election. That much is clear. My only concern - no, fear - is what is going to happen afterwards. He is going to try to have states refuse to certify. He is going to try to bring court cases. All the same crap he did last time. My greatest fear is that he will create so much chaos, doubt, and uncertainty, that it will throw the entire election up to confusion that must be settled by the House of Representatives. And THEY will simply hand the election to Trump regardless of the vote. This is his plan. He isn't trying to win the election anymore. He is laying the groundwork to steal it.
That is and absolute farking nightmare scenario. Because it will set the stage for Trump to do all the stuff that I stared this post with. Well, that's part of it. The actual problem is that that might be the game breaker for this country. There is a real fear that when the country sees that their will has been subverted by a farking Nazi and his goons, we may see something that makes Jan 6th look like a walk in the park. We may see actual violence.
The only way to avoid this is for Harris to win this election in such a landslide that there can be no room for Trump and his goons to play their games.
And that is where I leave this. Either Harris wins in a landslide and we can start fixing this country up, and put an end to this MAGA shit once and for all... Or we don't. And if we don't, we are going to have the darkest times this country has ever seen. And we might not ever recover from it.
So, people... You know the mission. Get out and vote. Vote for Harris. Tell your friends. Tell your enemies. Do whatever it takes to make this election the one that finally puts things back on track. Because if you don't do that, this experiment will be over.
Update: 2024-09-30
Someone on Quora asked the question, "Who do you think has the most to prove in tomorrow's debate?" My answer was too good to not share on my own blog. So...
Here is my answer: I think you may be missing something terrible about this. Each has a lot to prove. Walz because VP is a big jump from Governor. And Vance because most people see him as a vile right wing piece of shit.
Walz will have to prove himself to those that doubt him. Democrats, undecided voters, and some Republicans. Trump supporters will never budge. He cannot prove himself to them, and he shouldn’t even try.
Vance has to prove himself to the ones that are not die-hard MAGA. And since he is a racist, woman hating, nationalist, xenophobic, homophobic, lying, theocratic, couch farking, conspiracy theorist who makes up stories, dragging entire communities into the spotlight for no reason other than all the things I said at the beginning of this incredibly long sentence… For those reasons, he will have a VERY difficult time proving to the entirety of the country that isn’t MAGA, that he is NOT all of those shitty qualities wrapped into a single bag of skin.
In the end, Walz will do a fine job. He will stay on topic and on target. He may even make a joke or two. He will call out Vance on things that he says, that are obviously false.
Vance will crap a bunch of conspiracy theories and right wing propaganda across the stage, smear it all over the cameras and the moderators, and will look straight into the camera telling you how RIGHT he is, and how you are an idiot for not believing him. YOU are an idiot for not seeing the self-evident.
And when it’s over, the right will say the Vance trounced Walz and the left will say that Walz did a great job and Vance looked like the jackass that he is.
And then nothing will change.
Update: 2024-09-11
I'm going to open this update with something I rarely say, but this time I am thrilled to say it. I was wrong!
My prediction about last night's debate was completely wrong in every way. I woke up this morning to news outlets reporting that Harris did great, and Trump more or less drove his campaign straight into the ground. Even the right wing media is saying that.
I don't normally watch the debates. But I watched that one. For me the key takeaways were these...
They fact checked him and called him on it, live. "There is no state in this country where it's legal to kill a baby after it's born." And, "There are no credible reports of pets being eaten by illegals." Those two were the first that come to mind. Trump actually said those things out loud, and was immediately told by the moderators that they were untrue. It's about goddamned time, ABC! Thank you!!! He's been getting a pass on that sort of thing for entirely too long.
Also, "I have concepts of a plan", is going to be one of the big new things to make fun of. So much so that even with every stupid thing he said last night, that one stood out bigly.
For Harris's part, she handled herself remarkably well. There were a couple of mispronunciations, and she avoided a couple of questions a little. But that is about as close as she came to making anything like a mistake. She stayed on target the entire time. And that is remarkable considering how close she came to losing her cool, at least once...
“This…. former president,” was the greatest moment of restraint in the history of humanity.

One other great key thing that Kamala drove home was after Trump proudly declared that abortion rights have been "moved to the states", Kamala hit back HARD with examples of precisely how horrible, painful, and dangerous that has been to women of all ages in those states.
I could go on an on about this. Because the debate - the content of the debate - was really that good. But there are many real news outlets and far better writers than myself that are going to be flooding the internet today with similar sentiments to my own. So I'll just end this here by once again stating my resounding approval for Harris. An incredible job last night. Just spectacular! I am feeling much more confident now that we will be calling her Madam President in a few weeks.
Wait! One more thing... After posting this I've seen DJT's reaction to his performance.

Update: 2024-09-09
Today is the eve of the debate between Trump and Harris. Here is my prediction for how it will go...
Harris is going to speak clearly and intelligently, answer questions, and generally conduct herself professionally. Trump is going to yell a bunch of complete bullshit at every question he is asked. He will talk about things that are unrelated to the question. And I wouldn't be surprised if he reached into his diaper and flung a handful of shit at Kamala.
The next morning, Fox, Newsmaxx, and other similar media outlets will declare that it was either too close to call, or that Trump outright won. And worse... No matter how well Kamala Harris does, the mainstream media is going to only point out her mistakes and/or flaws. They will do this while not even mentioning Trump's terrible, nonsense word salad answers.
It is for these reasons that I hate debates. Because that is literally how it always goes. The right will declare their person the winner. The media will declare that the left had a lot of unforced errors. They will not talk about the substance or content of the answers. Only how they each performed.
This debate is particularly ridiculous. Because on one side, we have a very well qualified, intelligent, energetic person, that really wants this job, and really wants to help put this country on the right track. She is almost certainly the most qualified candidate we've seen in our lifetimes, for all her experience.
On the other side, we have the 34 count convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, fraud, traitor, lying sack of shit, that wants to dismantle the government, close the borders, deport people by the millions, round up and punish all of his political opponents, and... Sheesh, you know what? I am SO sick of typing this list all the time. He's a f'n scumbag who will destroy the country. That's all you need to know.
And the media is treating this as if these are two candidates that just have some differences in policy. That is just SO wrong. And it makes me sick that the media just keeps that thread going.
Here's what you need to know right about now.: Trump cannot win this election. He literally has nowhere near the support. This country either hates his guts or is terrified of him winning, or usually both. This election is going to end only one of two ways... Kamala Harris wins in a landslide, so large that no amount of jiggery pokery from the Trump people will overcome it. OR There will be a massive amount of nonsense and chaos that will force the election to be decided by the SCOTUS.
If that happens, it will mean that the voting will not matter. Trump will simply be installed as President.
In short, if Trump becomes President this November, it won't be because he won. That's just not possible. It will be because the government has been taken over by those Project 2025 people.
If that happens, we are truly and completely screwed. This country cannot survive such an upheaval. And I am genuinely terrified of what will happen next.
This is a long way of saying that this debate tomorrow night is a complete waste of time. It's just a money grab for the networks. It will not change anyone's mind. My prediction still stands. And it will have NO effect on the election at all.
Update: 2024-08-26
Oh, how things have changed in the past few weeks. I feel like every time I sit down to jot something up for this blog, I'm writing about how messed up things are, and how we are is such peril, and how the political landscape in this country has become a volatile cesspool of nonsense and bullshit... For SO long the despair in the Democratic party and their inevitable loss in this election was going to destroy Democracy, was just entirely prevalent. And then Joe Biden dropped out. And then he endorsed Kamala Harris. And then Harris chose Time Walz as her running mate. Suddenly the entire mood of the country changed. It's been about a month since this process started, and there has been nothing but good coming out of it in the time since.
I'm going to sidetrack for a moment before I get to my actual point - which is a good one, stay tuned...
Harris and Walz did a little campaign event where they sat up on stage and talked about their lives and how they got to where they are. Walz recalled his time as a high school football coach, taking them from not having won a game in ages, to winning the state championship in just a few years. Whether you care about high school sports or not, you cannot deny that this is a positive story told be someone who really cares, and made a difference in the lives of real people.
Kamala, for her part, spoke about the problems she saw in society, and people that she knew that were victims of sexual assault, and citing those as reasons she became a prosecutor, To make a difference. To make sure that people that needed to be punished for committing serious violent crimes got what was due.
This is what Harris and Walz are bringing to the table. Real people, real stories, real lives, REAL difference made in the lives of real people. Those are accomplishments. Those are things that people can feel good about, and can relate to.
Now, what do you get when you listen to Trump talk about his accomplishments? It's all about how rich he is, and how many floors his building has, and how big his crowd size was...

This is all stuff that NO ONE cares about. Partly because, in most cases, it's not true anyway. But mostly because none of those things matter to normal every day people. And it's just further evidence that Trump doesn't care about anyone else but himself. And the things he thinks are impressive are superficial, and/or usually exaggerated or straight up lies.
That is the difference in the messages between these two campaigns.
Anyway... I did promise I would make a point about this. And here we are...
The mood of this country has changed. It has gone from doom and gloom, and holy shit we are in trouble, to hope, joy, happiness, encouragement, promise, and a positive outlook.
The last time I saw such a stark contrast in the mood of the people was the day I woke up after Trump "won" in 2016. The whole country was just defeated, sad, frightened... The media was in shock. Hell, Trump was in shock!. No one could believe that this could possibly happen. It was awful. Everywhere I went from work to the grocery store, people were walking around in a daze of disbelief and fear.
Then, in 2020, when Biden won his election... As soon as it was announced that he claimed the victory, the country exploded with happiness. They were, and I'm not exaggerating, dancing in the streets!! They were shooting off fireworks! For the record, THIS is what it looks like when the will of the people is realized. THIS was genuine. It was REAL. And the joy and happiness could physically be felt everywhere you went. For more on this, just look at how well the DNC went. That looked more like a concert than a political event.
This, for the record, is why I put the word "won" in quotes when I talk about Trump. There is no way that the majority of this country wanted him to win. You could tell by the mood I describe before. I don't know exactly how it happened, but you will never convince me that that election was legitimate. Based purely on how I saw this country react. That is all I need to know that something terrible had happened. And we were all the victims.
So, now, here we are again.
This country was in a serious gloom. Because the campaign that was promoting hate, division, mass deportations, xenophobia, consolidation of power, further restriction of rights, a convicted felon leading the race... There are a lot more truly horrible things to add to that list - scroll down to the Project 2025 graphic for that... They were poised to win. And the country was sad and frightened by that.
Well... As you can tell right now - as you can FEEL right now - the country doesn't feel that way anymore! The message of joy, inclusion, civil rights, improvements to society, healthcare, jobs, the economy, and just general sanity, is energizing this country in a way we haven't seen since the Obama era. You remember that era. The one that ended with Donald Trump seizing power and splitting this country right down the middle. One more thing i cannot stress enough: We cannot let that happen again. Ever!!
I will conclude this rant by linking up to the Harris/Walz campaign site and using their campaign slogan: We are not going back!
Update: 2024-08-06
For all this time I've been saying that I hope the GOP wises up and drops Trump. But I no longer feel that way.
He is an albatross around their necks. And I'm more than happy to watch them lose this election in a most spectacular fashion.
For starters, he is a criminal, fraud, rapist, and liar. To continue on, during his term as President he wrecked the economy, alienated our allies, broke the law repeatedly, enriched himself, and mishandled a pandemic SO badly that we still haven't recovered from it. THAT is who the GOP is running for President right now.
His newest positions are even worse than last time. His VP pick is worse. He is now a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist. He is losing popularity. He is hemorrhaging support. His legal bills are emptying the GOPs campaign funds. And his legal troubles are not entirely going away.
That is who the GOP is insisting is their guy. You farking morons. You have done this to yourselves.
And really, my final point is that if they replace him now, it might be someone competent. That would be very bad for us. But let's be serious... Who would such a replacement be anyway? They have not got a Kamala Harris up their sleeve.
If JD Vance was second place, we know HE can't be the main guy. So if that's the best they've got as a backup... Well... HAHAHA... I've got nothing else... LOL.
Update: 2024-07-23
This is a very short update today. I just want to illustrate what is at stake in this election. I wrote about Project 2025 before, but I didn't go into detail about it. Here is part of it. The brief summary. If you don't find this horrifying you are totally part of the problem.
Remember also, that if Trump loses this election, they will not shelve this project. They will change the name to 2029 and try again. This movement needs to be squashed like a horrible, ugly, diseased insect.
Update: 2024-07-22
Biden has dropped out. He has endorsed Kamal Harris for the Democratic nomination. This is nothing but a whole lot of good news for the Democrats, and terrible new for the MAGA of the country.
The Democratic party split right down the middle after that debate a few weeks ago. That division was what was going to lose the election. We need unity in the party. We need a candidate that those in office and the voters alike can all agree upon and get behind. When Biden dropped out and named Kamala to take his place, the response from the Democrats was exactly that. Endorsements came flooding in almost as quickly as the news broke.
The entire party has already rallied to Kamala's endorsement. And that is precisely the message that needed to be sent.
I don't want to reference to the MAGA crowd, because that isn't what this is about. But WOW are they upset! LOL. They were the ones yelling the loudest about how Biden wasn't fit to run for reelection. So he drops out, and now they are screaming about how unfair it is. Oh, just STFU, you sniveling shitheads.
Wait, one more thing... The MAGA crowd has also stated, "This is great, because she owns all of Biden's failures!!" Let's list off some of those failures... Rebuilding of infrastructure, wage increases, more jobs, lower unemployment, gun violence reduction legislation, protections for LGBTQ marriages, pandemic recovery, restored faith from our allies around the world, student debt relief, climate and environmental legislation... Those are just a few things. And yes, she CAN own that. Proudly.
Back to my main point here, we absolutely have a candidate right now that can not only win this race, but will likely encourage voters to give her support in Congress too. In fact, by some accounts, that was likely one of the main reasons that Biden's friends and colleagues were encouraging him to drop out. Once the party is unified behind a candidate, and not split like before, that will mean more for everyone.
Of course we are going to hear a lot of people say, "but she's a woman! And she isn't white!!" Well, yeah, we know that. If you think that's a problem, you probably shouldn't even be reading this. You should probably go find a nice, safe Right wing blog that will listen to your stupidity and bigotry. The rest of us over here acknowledge those things and see them as a positive step in the right direction. For my part in this, I see her as smart, well spoken, strong, caring, hard working, and well aware of the problems facing this country. If her gender and race entire into it at all, it's only because she DOES represent HUGE parts of this country that have been under-represented and oppressed since the dawn of time. In short, if you aren't aware of how important it is for those groups to start getting some better representation, you are likely part of the MAGA crowd.
Now that we've addressed that bit, we can move on to say that Harris is absolutely the best person for this job, and we fully expect that she will earn the nomination. She deserves it. She is qualified for it. She wants to do the job! Set her race and gender aside, and those things still exist.
Let us sit back and enjoy the fact that some good news finally came into this election cycle. This is the best I've felt about all of this for quite some time. The feeling of doom and dread that I was getting from watching the Democrats, liberals, and progressives split apart, has been washed away.
And we can finally get a rest from all that crap about Biden being too old and feeble. It will now be replaced with completely different bullshit. But the new crap will be much easier to laugh at and brush aside. Because the MAGA crowd has got nothing to say about Harris. Nothing that carries any weight. They are afraid now. And they should be.
Update: 2024-07-16
This is going to have to be said every day until the election, I guess... The Left has absolutely nothing to do with what happened on Saturday. All of the incendiary speech, the hate speech, the threats, the revenge, the taking away of rights, the criminality, the blame, the xenophobia, the bigotry, Project 2025, "I'll be a dictator on day one". and all the rest, are all things that have been done and said by the Right - much of it in particular BY Trump himself... THAT is what made that kid take a shot at Trump.
It was not the Democrats, liberals, or the media saying those things. All those people did was repeat and make known what was being said by the Right.
J.D. Vance, that insufferable bucket of puke, actually came out and said that Biden telling everyone that "Trump is a threat to Democracy" was the reason for the assassination attempt. Well, if that's true, it's only because Biden is simply using Trump's own words.
If I sit here and continue typing about this, I will not be doing anything but restating what is already well known and already being said out loud everywhere. So I'll just stop this rant now. I will sum up this short update by saying again that the Right brought this on themselves. If you keep on telling people to take up arms for what they believe, at some point someone is going to do it. So don't be surprised that someone took that literally and used it to try to take out the one person that he (and most of us) knows is the biggest threat to this country.
And it cannot be said loudly enough, dear Conservatives, that the shooter was a Conservative gun lover. It was one of yours. He was not a liberal. He was not a Democrat. He was someone who had been a Conservative and listened to all the stuff being said by Conservatives in Conservative echo chambers. THAT is where he got the idea to do what he did. So stop trying to blame everyone else.
Update: 2024-07-14
Well... I'm at a loss now. For the first time in many many years of nonsense with Trump, I have NO idea what is going to happen next.
Unless you were in a sensory deprivation chamber since about 6:15PM EST on 7/13/2024, you are aware that there was an assassination attempt on Trump. For about 2 hours after the event, there was a lot of speculation that this was some sort of false flag. A staged event. Because, WOW is that convenient timing. But it soon was reported that one spectator was shot dead, and 2 others wounded. So, as insane as it sounds, this happened. This was real. Not a false flag. Someone tried to shoot Trump. And for all his effort, the shooter missed. This is why the event is termed "attempted."
Since this just happened last night, at the time of my writing, the news is a little scant and not very clear. But this is what we know to be facts now: The shooter is was a 20 year old male. He was a republican. He was perched on the roof of a building some 300 yards away from the stage and outside the event perimeter. One person in the stands behind Trump was shot dead, and 2 others wounded. The shooter was immediate neutralized (SS code for "shot dead") pretty much instantly. Trump was grazed on the top part of his right ear. Trump appears to be fine and in no immediate danger.
Any and all of that information is subject to change as new information comes in. And you know, there will be a whole helluva lot of that!
Right. So... I'm not here to debate or condone whether or not Trump deserves this. But I will say right now, up front, that political violence of this sort is unacceptable. This should not have happened. And I will also point my finger directly that those responsible for security that they somehow missed this happening. Holy shit, was this a GIGANTIC failure in every conceivable way.
Look, Trump is okay. He's not in any danger, although whether he knows it or not, there is going to be much trauma that he will have to contend with. So I think I can speak about this without disrespecting him. Keep in mind though, he would never offer such respect if it were Joe that just got his ear grazed.
Now... What is going to happen next?
Man, I really don't know. But I am more terrified now than I was before. If you'd like to see why I've been so terrified, I invite you to read the links above. I had stated once that if Trump keeps up all this talk about how "violence is okay sometimes, even in politics", someone was going to literally take that out on him. And it seems that has happened. But part of my comment was more pragmatic, along the lines of, "If someone makes him a martyr, he will become more powerful than we can possibly imagine."
And, yeah, that RIGHT THERE, is where we are at this moment. Trump has been made a martyr. Even though he is still alive, for all intents and purposes, the term applies. And we are going to hear nothing from him except THIS event until November 5th, whether he wins or not. And many people are already saying that this event may sway things in his favor. Again, read my previous articles for why that is SO bad!
Seriously... I don't know that that is going to happen. He might drop out. He might have a change of attitude knowing that his own bullshit is partly to blame for someone trying to blow his farking head off. But I doubt he will find that level of self-realization in this. If anything this will just make him more angry. I wouldn't be surprised if he called upon his supporters to start taking revenge on his enemies right now.
Biden has already taken the high road here, and he has done so for all the right reasons. He is pausing his ad campaigns. And make no mistake, his ad campaigns have gotten to be brutally negative to Trump, and calling him out for the scumbag, criminal, convicted felon, rapist, fraud asshole that he is. Biden is putting a halt on that. Because in this one case, it really is the right thing to do.
Biden also came on TV to make his statement, and in that he acknowledged how WRONG this event was, and for what reasons. Also that he is personally reaching out to Trump, to talk to him with respect, make sure that he is okay, and personally tell him that he thinks what happened was wrong.
Here is one stark contrast between the two men. When Nancy Pelosi's husband was severely beaten with a hammer by a mentally ill Trump supporter, Trump made fun of it, and encouraged more such behavior. That, if you are not paying attention, is the wrong way to handle such things. And it's one of the many reasons why so many of us say that he is such an asshole.
Getting back to what I was saying about what will happen next... One thing is that the entire political landscape just changed. For example... Whether Trump encourages his followers to take revenge or not, they will almost certainly do it on their own. Biden and Harris have got targets on their heads now. Neither one of them can even show up in public without bulletproof glass protecting them. Trump too, for that matter.
Secondly... The tone of the political ads is going to change. The left will show ads condemning the violence and calling for unity, the right will show ads portraying Trump as a hero that took a bullet for his country. The left will continue to proclaim that this sort of violence is wrong and unacceptable, and the right will continue to glorify Trump as the most alpha male of all alpha males, ready to lead this country with strength and awesome power that even a bullet can't contain.
Ok, I don't know any of that for a fact. But it sounds about as plausible as anything else I can imagine. And if you go look at social media right now, that is essentially a good summation of what both sides are saying. Well, except that there is a large faction of people loudly declaring that it's a shame the shooter wasn't a better shot. It seems that even among people who believe political violence is wrong, some still think that Trump deserved it. Again, not condoning that attitude. I'm merely making an observation.
One thing is for certain:
This event is going to further divide this country. Mostly because this is going to embolden Trump and his supporters. As if they weren't already bold enough. To once again quote Obi-Wan, they are going to become more powerful than we can possibly imagine.
And for that, I am far more terrified than I was before. We are in real trouble now.
